NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Caribbean Development Bank (CDC) is doing its part in funding and ensuring road safety in all of its member countries, The Bahamas included.

Of these, public transport is something that is in focus for the financial institution as countries in the region become more developed.

With funding from the European Union, the CDB has developed the road sector resilience index which seeks to do the following.

And how does all of this affect The Bahamas? Speaking at the International Road Federation Congress, Ashby says partnerships and funding are key to not only road safety but other areas of focus.
