JAMAICA – A Jamaican taxi driver from the eastern parish of St. Mary has been charged with murder seven years after the killing of two missionaries from the United States.

In April 2016, missionaries Randy Hetzel and Harold Nichols were seen leaving the community of Tower Isle in the parish.

Later that day, Hetzel’s body was found in bushes and the body of Nichols was found the following day.

Hentzel died of a gunshot wound, while Nichols had gunshot and chop wounds.

Andre Thomas was jointly charged with farmer Dwight Henry, who pleaded guilty earlier this year.
