NASSAU, BAHAMAS – We are one week closer to the second Baha Mar Culinary and Arts Festival slated for October 27th through the 29th. I sat down with Chef Garette Bowe of Marcus Fish and Chophouse who tells me that last year was all about getting their footing. But this year, things are heating up and attendees have lots of exciting events to look forward to.

Last year’s event was so successful and exciting that guests had an impromptu after-party.

Bowe says the message was received loud and clear and they’ve prepared an official after-party this time around.

Although she’s been a chef for some 12 years now, she says it is always exciting to collaborate with other local and international chefs.

She adds that culinary students from the University of The Bahamas have also been invited for a unique learning experience.
