JPMorgan Settles Epstein Case With USVI

U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS – JPMorgan Chase said it will pay 75 million to settle a lawsuit by the U.S. Virgin Islands alleging that the American bank facilitated and benefited from the sex trafficking of young women by its longtime customer Jeffrey Epstein.

U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS – JPMorgan Chase said it will pay 75 million to settle a lawsuit by the U.S. Virgin Islands alleging that the American bank facilitated and benefited from the sex trafficking of young women by its longtime customer Jeffrey Epstein.

USVI’s Attorney General Ariel Smith announced the settlement in a video message to islanders today.

The settlement stops a trial that had been set to start next month.
