ELEUTHERA , BAHAMAS – Local contractors in Eleuthera are getting piece of the pie. The Bahamas Striping Group of Companies along with the Ministry of Works signing with 20 contractors on the island of Eleuthera in a cleanup effort campaign.

The project focuses on the Eleuthera Dump and the removal of bulk waste from all settlements Eleuthera.

Member of Parliament for South and Central Eleuthera Clay Sweeting who also serves as Minister of Works and Family Island Affairs says it’s all about ownership.

This signing is just the latest in ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure on the island.

Executive Chairman for Bahamas Striping Dominic Stirrup says while the cleanup efforts are important, it’s more about providing opportunities for the “small man”.
