NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Crime fighting just got a technological edge. The Royal Bahamas Police Force officially launching its CCTV program that seeks to partner with the community in the fight against crime.

Assistant Commissioner of Police with responsibility for Information and Technology Zhivago Dames says the new system will be key in the fight against crime.

Known as “FUSUS”, the brand specializes and provides real-time intelligence to law enforcement and public safety agencies internationally.

With the shot-spotter system already in place locally, police say the two will go hand in hand.
