NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Dwight King is a disaster management officer, and the Ministry of Work’s representative on the Disaster Management Committee.

King says The Bahamas’ building code is one of the reasons we’re so resilient to hurricanes. Now, the disaster management officer tells us that the code could be getting stronger.

And with new innovative resilient designs becoming more prevalent, King says.
