NASSAU, BAHAMAS – We are officially at the peak of the holiday shopping season and many are out and about getting their last-minute gifts. Today, we visited several businesses to find out what shoppers are buying this year.

The streets have been busy this holiday season as residents rush to get gifts. We visited 700 Wines and Spirits and Retail Sales Manager Arame Strachan says holiday sales are up adding that there are some customary items during this time of year.

And she says people are also buying gifts at their various stores.

Over at Janaees Uniform Center, each year, the company offers trees, decorations and toys for the little ones. Managing Director Martha Wallace admitting that sales are a little slow.

And for those wanting to be pampered during the holiday’s, Windermere Spa is also offering specials this holiday season.
