U.S.A. – Loyola Marymount University Lions Infielder Daalen Adderley has been named to the preseason All-American list by the National College Baseball Writers of America (NCBWA)

Adderley is entering his graduate year coming off a year where he was named to the College All-American Honorable Mention list after putting up monstrous stats, hitting .421 with a 1.165 OPS and 6 home runs for Texas Southern University. For his historic season, he was also named Southwest Athletic Conference (SWAC) player of the year and SWAC hitter of the year.

Despite his numerous accolades, Adderley still went undrafted. With one year of eligibility left, thanks to the extra COVID year granted to college athletes, Adderley was recruited by LMU assistant coach Justin Dedman after an outstanding series against the Missouri Tigers when Deadman was on Mizzou’s staff.

The Lions are coming off a season where they went 29-21 overall including a conference record of 21-6. Everyone, including the team and the College Baseball Writers of America think that adding an elite hitter like Adderley should make them even better.
