GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – The 2024 Fresh Start program, launched by the Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Culture in Grand Bahama, is now officially underway. 

Youth Program Coordinator Carla Brown-Roker conveyed a message of encouragement to the participants of the Grand Bahama Fresh Start Program, emphasizing the program’s track record of positive results over the decades its been in existence.

Numerous Grand Bahamians have undergone training in essential skills through the program, leading to employment opportunities.

The Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute, Northern Bahamas, has once again partnered with Fresh Start to offer a range of unique courses. 

Sherlock Prince is recruitment officer at BTVI in the north.

This year’s program has attracted a significant number of young participants. Chaya Carey is one of them. Now excited about the opportunity to find a new job.

Kristin Davis, another participant, was also eager for a fresh start.
