NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Crime consultant in the Ministry of National Security Carlos Reid continues to use his voice and own life experiences to stand against violence in the country.

Reid says one of the biggest issues we’re facing today is getting young people to understand that their actions have a resounding impact.

Reid also admonishes young men and women to seek God and their purpose. He says following the crowd or succumbing to peer pressure can no longer be the status quo.

But, his words of advice are not just for young people. Reid says adults must lead by example, simply telling them what to do, without putting it into practice, is not enough.

Now there have been several cases for the year so far where innocent bystanders were shot or killed. Reid has this message for those offenders.
