NASSAU, BAHAMAS – We are now into the second quarter of 2024 and so far it appears as if tourism numbers are still soaring.

This as the Central Bank reported as much during it’s March 2024 monthly economic and financial report. The Bahamian economy grew at a more moderated pace in the first quarter of 2024, when compared to the same period in 2023.

The country’s success is attributed to recoveries from both Covid19 and Hurricane Dorian, high tourism numbers, sustained foreign investment and construction activity.

Vice President and Group Head of Investment at RF Bank and Trust David Slatter shares, this news bodes well for the outlook of the second quarter.
