U.S. Court Preserves Access To Widely Used Abortion Medication

UNITED STATES – In a unanimous decision Thursday, the U.S. Supreme court preserved access to mifepristone, a key medication used in two-thirds of U.S. abortions last year.

This marks the court’s first abortion ruling since overturning Roe v. Wade. The justices ruled abortion opponents lacked standing to challenge the FDA’s approval of mifepristone.
