Two Men Arraigned for Death of American Woman

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Two men have been charged with causing the death of a 38-year-old American woman  who was run over by a boat while snorkeling at the Pink Sands Beach in Harbour Island.

Boat captain Aldon Barry, 41, and Charles Reginald Cash, the boat’s owner, are charged with manslaughter by negligence in the June 22 death of Allison Dyck.

The boat’s owner is also charged with failure to submit a vessel for inspection, operating a boat with expired registration, employing a person to run a boat without a business license and operating without a business license.

The men were not required to plead to the charges and they were each granted $9,500 bail.

Barry and Cash return to court on November 21 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
