Former Clifton Heritage Managing Director and Two Others Arraigned on Murder Related Charges

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Mario Bannister, the former managing director of the Clifton Heritage Site, faced charges today concerning his alleged involvement in the murder of Philip Adderley.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Mario Bannister, the former managing director of the Clifton Heritage Site, faced charges today concerning his alleged involvement in the murder of Philip Adderley.

Bannister, 62, Christian Napier, 28, and Donte Riley, 26, are accused of plotting Adderley’s murder during the month of August.

Adderley was found stabbed to death in waters near the former Stuart Cove Site on August 15.

Napier and Riley are accused of killing Adderley on August 14.

And, Bannister is accused acting as an accessory to the murder by providing a vehicle to the killers.

The men didn’t have to enter pleas to the charges when they stood before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.

Bail was denied and the matter was adjourned to February 13 for the presentation of a voluntary bill of indictment
