NASSAU, BAHAMAS – It was a thrilling scene to witness the lobby of Fusion Superplex buzzing with cast members and attendees taking snapshots as an all-Bahamian film made its debut in the IMAX theatre. 

The movie – Look Up Child – is an award-nominated film, is 100 percent Bahamian-made and features a cast of incredible local talent, who’ve become staples in the entertainment industry.

Now etched in the history books as a revolutionary moment in the art and entertainment industry, the award-nominated movie that tackles the issue of tragedy and trauma is filled with veteran local talent.

Making an unexpected appearance was international content creator Jason Crawford. 

With more than half of the 350-plus seats filled in the theatre, it’s safe to say the premiere was a success.
