NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A judge has revoked bail for a man accused of sex with a minor after he missed three scheduled trial dates.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A judge has revoked bail for a man accused of sex with a minor after he missed three scheduled trial dates.
Senior Justice Cheryl Grant-Thompson ordered Ashton Sturrup remanded into custody until his 2025 trial date.
Prosecutors say Sturrup had unlawful sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old girl on May 29, 2020.
Sturrup was 21 when he allegedly committed the crime.
