NASSAU, BAHAMAS – We’re taking a step back and helping you get a closer look at the country’s only BYD authorized dealer – Easy Car Sales.

“Easy Car Sales started way back from 2009 selling imported Japanese cars to the consumers, and we transitioned from that in 2016 when we started bringing the e-Leafs, pre-owned Leafs, to the market. In 2020, we actually transitioned to fully electric vehicles. No more gas engine vehicles at all.”

Johnson highlighted the distinction between Easy Car Sales’ “Build Your Dreams” (BYD) vehicles and other resellers.

“I know we have what you call the resellers. Basically, they bring the vehicles that are made for the Chinese domestic market, and sometimes you find that is not the same.”

He emphasized the importance of the manufacturer’s warranty.

“The manufacturer’s warranty is so important because if anything happens to your vehicle, that vehicle is backed 100% by the manufacturer’s guarantee. Other persons can offer you a warranty, but it will never be the manufacturer’s warranty, because that can only come from an authorized dealer. And that is what you get here at Easy Car Sales.”

Easy Car Sales also sells JAC and Geely vehicles to commercial clients. Cable Bahamas is one of their largest commercial customers.
