UNITED STATES – The Centers For Disease control has issued a food safety alert linked to McDonald’s quarter pounders due to an E. Coli outbreak affecting at least 49 people across 10 states, including one death.

McDonald’s has reportedly removed slivered onions and quarter pounder patties from stores in several states, as the onions are suspected to be the source of contamination.

While other menu items remain unaffected, McDonald’s says it’s working to resolve the issue with suppliers.
