NASSAU, BAHAMAS – North MP Kirk Cornish elected to remain silent when his rape, assault and death threat case resumed before Justice Renae McKay.

Instead, he called his accuser’s uncle, Apostle Cedric Bullard, as a character witness.

Bullard described Cornish as a quiet person and sais that he was shocked when he learned of the allegations.

He said, “I can’t remember him being in a fight. He’s the most quiet person in Cooper’s Town.

Cornish is accused of raping his then girlfriend on March 24, 2023 and April 4, 2023. He’s accused of assaulting and threatening to kill the same woman on January 20, 2023.

The jury is expected to hear closing addresses on Wednesday.
