NASSAU, BAHAMAS – As the country continues to struggle with escalating violence, Free National Movement leader Michael Pintard says there seems to be a lack of urgency to address the issues.

Pintard also says it takes too long for murder cases to go to trial.

He also pointed to the sad reality and many murder victims are on bail and says an important step is looking at the Bail Act.

His comments came after three men were killed in a mass shooting in Fox Hill.

At that scene, Police Commissioner Clayton Rernander revealed more than 170 people are on bail for serious crimes, something Pintard totally opposes.
