GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Christmas is indeed the most wonderful time of the year, a season of love, joy and giving back.

This past Saturday, members of the Grand Bahama Port Authority swapped their business hats for Santa hats as they brought festive cheer to communities across the nation.

One of their first stops? Wellington Heights in the Hawksbill community.

There, residents were treated to an abundance of gifts – grocery packages, Amazon surprises, toys for the little ones  and thoughtful presents for adults, all prepared for over 2,000 people.

Joining forces with the GBPA was the reach out youth organization and  universal household of faith, the mega effort showcasing the true spirit of Christmas.

Dudley Seide says the focus of his organization is to give back and it all could not be possible without the GBPA.

President Ian Rolle reveals the effort wasn’t only for the island of Grand Bahama.

These residents saying a major thank you for the Christmas treat.
