NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A woman who appears to be in her early thirties is dead following a traffic fatality yesterday morning shortly after 9 on Bahamas Games Blvd.

When the Our News team arrived on the scene the area was cordoned off.

A silver bluebird vehicle could be seen damaged near the median and some guard railings on that median was destroyed.

Press Liason Officer Chief Superintendent Chrislyn Skippings says it does not appear that speed was a factor.

Officer in charge of traffic, Chief Superintendent David Lockhart confirming that this year’s traffic fatality count is higher than last year’s.
