NASSAU, BAHAMAS –  Nassau & Paradise Island will take centre stage on UK television this January with the debut of Ainsley’s Taste of The Bahamas, a brand-new ten-part culinary series airing on ITV1 in the United Kingdom from 3 January 2026.

Produced by Rock Oyster Media and supported by the Nassau & Paradise Island Promotion Board (NPIPB) and Baha Mar, the series follows beloved UK chef and television favourite Ainsley Harriott as he immerses himself in the food, culture, and people of Nassau & Paradise Island, offering international audiences an authentic look at Bahamian life and flavour.

Each episode highlights a different aspect of Bahamian culture, with Ainsley meeting local chefs, farmers, fishermen, artisans, and cultural practitioners who help shape the destination’s culinary identity. Filmed across Nassau & Paradise Island, the series explores everything from reefs and mangroves to aquaponic farms, historic landmarks, and some of the island’s most authentic restaurants.

Throughout the series, viewers journey to culturally significant locations including Queen’s Staircase, Clifton Heritage Park, the Underwater Sculpture Garden, John Watling’s Distillery, Mortimer Candies, and Graycliff’s renowned wine cellar, while also gaining a hands-on look at Junkanoo with Arlene Nash-Ferguson at Educulture.

Baha Mar’s celebrity chefs and Bahamian culinary icons are featured throughout the series as Ainsley joins Chef Scott Conant at Leola, Chef Marcus Samuelsson at Fish + Chop House. He also captures Chef Simeon Hall Jr and Chef Tevin Kemp in action and takes part in an interactive cocktail-making experience with Mixologist Marv Cunningham at Jon Batiste’s Jazz Club.

The series further explores The Bahamas’ farm-to-table movement with a visit to Chiccharney Farms and Bluefield Farms, highlights environmental conservation efforts with the Bahamas National Trust at Bonefish Pond, and captures the energy of the Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival at Baha Mar.
