UNITED STATES – It was a tough night for Bahamian talent in the Big Leagues.

Coach Antoan Richardson and the New York Mets fell 8-4 to the Reds, with stars Juan Soto, Francisco Lindor, and Pete Alonso combining for just one hit, Soto’s solo homer in the first.

Over in the Bronx, Jazz Chisholm went 0-4 with a strikeout as the Yankees dropped their matchup against the Braves, 7-3.

In the minors, Sebastian Walcott went 1-5 with an RBI single, but his Frisco RoughRiders lost 7-3 in 10 innings to the Corpus Christi Hooks. Meanwhile, Kristian Robinson also went 1-5 as his Amarillo Sod Poodles shut out the San Antonio Missions 6-0.

Beach Soccer Action
The Nassau Beach Soccer Tournament heats up tonight with round robin play at the Beach Soccer Stadium near the Sir Sidney Poitier Bridge.

Carib FC is currently facing Future Stars, Coastal Crusaders take on Bahamas Latin at 8 p.m., and Western Warriors battle the Beach Blazers at 9 p.m.

Hosted by national team captain Leslie St. Fleur, the event promises fun for the whole family, with food, entertainment, and tickets priced at just $3 for adults and $2 for kids.
