NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Bahamian luxury clothing brand, BAHARI, officially launching their annual Breast Cancer Awareness collection, just in time for the month of October.

Eager patrons rushed to the stores and were met with a rich shopping experience. Our Denielle Miller has the details.

Partnering with Sister Sister Bahamas, BAHARI Bahamas continues to pledge their support to the community.

The Bahamian fashion brand wanted to do more than just release the collection in New Providence and Grand Bahama. They were also adamant about giving shoppers an experience which comprised of food, drinks and a live panel discussion.

When we entered their Southwest Plaza location, it was flush wall to wall with apparel for both men and women.

Through out the evening we witnessed dozens of pink bags exit the store and the walls, once covered in garments, were left bare by the end of the night.

As the register racked up in sales, so did the amount of donations that will be given to cancer patients and organizations countrywide.

Yvonne Wilson- Bootle tells us the comfortable it fit is what she enjoys most about the brand.
But, this collection is also personal for her, as she says the pink hues remind her that she’s not just a cancer survivor, but a representation of God’s word.
