NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man is behind bars after prosecutors say he raped a drunk woman.

Prosecutors allege that 55-year-old Robert Rahming offered the 31-year-old woman a ride from a bar on February 21, which she accepted.

Prosecutors allege that Rahming took advantage of the inebriated woman and took her to his home, where he sexually assaulted her.

Rahming didn’t have to enter a plea to the charge when he stood before Magistrate Abigail Farrington.

Bail was denied and Rahming returns to court on May 29 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
