NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A Haitian village off Joe Farrington Road, the scene of a structural fire Monday night.

Police tell Our News it was around 8:50 p.m. when firefighters were called to the Kool Acres Community to tame the blaze.

Director of Fire Services, Chief Superintendent Kenrick Morris addressing media on scene saying a single-storey wooden house was destroyed.

Morris said no one was injured in the fire, but he was unable to say how many people lived in the home.

Meanwhile, fire investigators are still trying to find out exactly what caused the fire.
