NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Christmas spirit is in the air! 24 feet in the air to be exact. The Cancer Society of The Bahamas ushers in the Yuletide season last night, hosting their annual tree lighting ceremony at Marathon Mall.

Gina Gonzalez-Rolle says they hope the tree serves as a beacon of hope.

The society is a non-profit organization and Gonzalez Rolle is reminding the country at large to pitch in, whether financially or through volunteer work.
