CHINA – Meanwhile China is digging in for a fight after the U.S. slapped a new 10% tariff on Chinese goods, Beijing hit back with its own levies on American farm products targeting Trump’s rural voter base.

But China isn’t going all out just yet, keeping tariffs below 20% and leaving room to negotiate.

Officials warn the U.S. to drop the “bullying face” but also signal they’re open to talks.

Meanwhile, China’s economy is under pressure, and this trade war could make things worse.
