NASSAU, BAHAMAS – As the holiday season blankets the world in a festive glow, real challenges like climate change persist. The prime minister has been an advocate on the world stage, pushing for larger countries to take responsibility for their role in its impact.

And while the country continues to make strides, Executive Director of the Bahamas Reef Environmental Educational Foundation, BREEF, Casuarina McKinney-Lambert says there is strength in numbers.

Climate Advisor in the Office of the Prime Minister, Dr. Rochelle Knowles, recently announcing several opportunities for young people to join in the fight. 

McKinney-Lambert says this is a step in the right direction. 

However, the executive director notes that climate change affects all aspects of society whether that be socially or financially.
