NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Thanksgiving is a United States holiday that many Bahamians have adopted. Each year, hundreds across the country order Thanksgiving meals.

Today, we got an inside look into the kitchen of a husband-and-wife team, who are preparing over eighty Thanksgiving meals for the sixth year.

Lemero Wright says the cost of ingredients to prepare Thanksgiving meals has gone up by hundreds of dollars.

Prestina, his wife, says sometimes they don’t even make a profit.

With only a few hours left until the big day, the duo was busy in the kitchen to ensure everything is ready for the Thanksgiving feast.
