NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The World Health Organization still sounding the alarm over COVID-19 saying it continues to be a public health emergency of international concern.

It has been three years since the who first declared COVID a global threat as more than 6.8 million people died during the outbreak.

The WHO chief says vaccines and treatments have changed the pandemic situation considerably since 2020, with hopes of an end to the emergency this year.
