Cycling Expands on GB

GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – President of the Grand Bahama Cycling Club Kenton Roker says the organization has a very vibrant youth program adding that there are some of the top junior cyclist in the region located in Grand Bahama which has made the sport interesting for many.

He says competitive cycling in The Bahamas has been around for 50 years and also shared that the sport provides some health benefits.

But, he admits that funding remains a challenge.

Now, on the organizations calendar this weekend is the 8th annual Tour de Grand Bahama which Roker says is growing rapidly.
