INDIA – The Dalai Lama apologizing Monday after a video, taken in February, went viral, causing outrage on social media.

In the video, the young boy approaches the 87 year old nobel peace prize winner and asks for a hug.

The spiritual leader invites the boy on stage, points to his cheek and says, “First here,” signaling the boy to give him a hug and a kiss.

After a few seconds, he pokes his tongue out and says,”And suck my tongue”

In a statement the Dalai Lama apologizing to the boy and his family, as well as his many friends across the world, adding he “Regrets” the incident.
