NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Following hurricane Dorian, several agencies were formed to help residents rebuild their lives with the assistance of the government.

Director of the National Emergency Management Agency Captain Stephen Rolle, telling rotarians Thursday afternoon, that the government is looking to streamline agencies such as NEMA and the disaster reconstruction authority.

He says the Inter-American Development bank was brought onboard to assess operations and the new Disaster Risk Management Act was developed and passed in parliament this year.
