NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism Chester Cooper says The Bahamas can now look forward to enjoying year-round tourism business and hotel occupancy as his office works to build Brand Bahamas.

Cooper who was addressing the weekly press briefing touted new jet services into Abaco, Eleuthera, and Exuma by multiple airlines.

This increased air travel he says comes as the country’s tourism product continues its post-pandemic bounce back.

The news comes as Cooper predicts a record eight million visitors for 2023. So far tourism arrivals are pacing at 50 percent above 2022 and 30 percent above 2019, which at the time, was the country’s busiest year on record for tourism.
