NASSAU, BAHAMAS – In two weeks, The Bahamas will be host the 50th CARIFTA games. When asked about the project’s timeline as we move closer to the big day, Minister of Youth Sports and Culture Mario Bowleg, assured the media that everything is on track for the historic sporting event.

If you want a taste of what’s to come, Bowleg suggests attending the trials this weekend, which he says are to be executed like a mock run of the 50th CARIFTA games.

And that’s whether Bahamians will purchase tickets in a timely fashion – as says individuals from other countries are already purchasing major seat sections throughout the stadium.
