F.O.A.M President Calls for Collaborative Approach to Homelessness
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – During the 2026/2027 Budget Debate in the Senate, Social Services Minister, Barbara Cartwright, told her senate colleagues that homelessness remains one of the most pressing issues facing her ministry, noting that the demand for shelter continues to grow. However, community advocate Khandi Gibson, founder of Families of All Murdered Victims (F.O.A.M.), says addressing the crisis will require a collaborative effort.
