GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – A motorcade filled with cheering supporters, lining the streets of Eight Mile Rock as Bishop Ricardo Grant made his way to the nomination center at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Officially entering his name as a candidate Grant is hopeful to represent constituents in West Grand Bahama and Bimini.

Grant says he has been canvassing the community and so far, he has been welcomed with open arms.

Grant says he believes residents in the area have been neglected, but, if elected, he is prepared to take their concerns to the House of Parliament.

Grant was ratified, unopposed, as the Free National’s candidate on October 19th.

Party Chairman, Dr. Duane Sands says Grant is the right man to fill the vacancy as he is homegrown and will be bringing sincerity to the position if elected.
