NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Pressure continues to mount on Finance Minister Michael Halkitis tonight as both the Free National Movement and the Coalition of Independents are calling for his resignation over his past role with Top Notch Construction – a company allegedly owned by Bahamian contractor Eric “Player” Gardiner, who is now in federal custody in the United States on alleged international drug trafficking charges.
