NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A former wanted suspect is behind bars in relation to shooting last month.

Prosecutors say 21-year-old Alistair Major shot and wounded Rayshaun Rolle at Sumner Street on June 29.

Major, who’s also known as Ally and Panda, faces charges of attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life in connection to the incident.

Major didn’t have to enter pleas to the charges when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.

He was denied bail and is scheduled to return to court on October 3 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
