NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 14-year-old boy from Anatol Rodgers was stabbed multiple times as a result of a fight that broke out on the school’s campus.

Chief Superintendent Chrislyn Skippings said the incident occurred just after 1:30pm Monday afternoon.

“The incident happened during the lunch break when a fight occurred at the Anatol Rodgers Senior High School involving junior high school students between the ages of 14 and 15 years old,” she said when briefing the media.

“The incident occurred at the rear of the campus on the junior side of the property which resulted in a 14-year-old male student being stabbed multiple times. The student was taken to hospital where he is in surgery. “

Chief Superintendent Skippings said the suspect is known and appealed to the parents to turn the child into police so that the matter could be resolved swiftly.
