NASSAU, BAHAMAS – More than a decade ago the New Providence Road Improvement Project was a sore-point for the then governing Ingraham administration.

With cost overruns topping more than $100 million and work on nine corridors dragging on for years causing misery for motorists. It was also a major talking-point in the months leading up to the 2012 general election.

And while there was outrage then, Former FNM cabinet minister and recent national honoree Neko Grant says given the outcome, he believes the works were well worth it.
