GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – The Royal Bahamas Police Force is staying true to its friends of the community message and in honor of its 185th anniversary, officers took time this week to conduct walk abouts across Grand Bahama.

It all started on Wednesday morning when Assistant Commissioner of Police Advarodo Dames, now responsible for the island of Grand Bahama along with senior officers, Urban Renewal and pastors, gathered on Coral Road for a community walkabout in the Hudson Estates area.

The patrol then moved to the pioneers loop community and wrapped up in Seagrape, western side of Grand Bahama.

ASP. Dames says the initiative is all about building strong community relationships.

He says the initiative says the Commissioner of Police is leading the effort and the effort did not stop in Grand Bahama.
