NASSAU, BAHAMAS – It was an afternoon of high tea in the grandest of Bahamian style as the independence secretariat hosted a Golden Jubilee Tea Party at Baha Mar under the patronage of Ann Marie Davis, wife of the prime minister.

Hundreds of proud Bahamian women attending the beautiful celebration organized by Chairperson of the Independence Secretariat Leslia Miller-Brice and her team.

The country is set to celebrate 50 years as an independent nation and the women share their hopes for the country going forward.
