NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Bahamas Union of Teachers President Belinda Wilson weighing in, following the death of a Government High School student due to gun violence.

You may recall that 16-year-old Junior Rosland of Carmichael Road was killed back on March 18 when he and another teen were standing in front of a home in Montel Heights.

Wilson says the steady increase in violence, especially among young men, is concerning for her not only as the B.U.T President, but as a citizen and a mother.

She says parents also have an important role to play.
