NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Bahamians and residents are in for a treat this weekend as the International Culture Wine and Food Festival is set to return after a two-year hiatus.  Over 26 countries will be represented and festival organizers say rain or shine, the show will go on.

This weekend, the Collins House grounds will be transformed into a literal melting pot as the venue for the 25th International Culture Wine and Food Festival. President, Janet Johnson says this post pandemic return will be a treat for attendees.

This year will feature new elements, including “head talks” the Bahamian version of TED talks.

Johnson is also inviting the kiddies as Goombay Kids will be hosting a special kid’s corner. And, for the adults, a haunted house opens after dark.

The festival is also going digital this year.

Assistant Product Manager of Digital Currency Adoption Unit at Central Bank, Carlisa Belle says their team will be on the festival grounds demonstrating the ease of using the digital currency. 

Public Relations and Communications Manager at Kanoo, Scieska Adderley, adding that the digital wallet provider now has two ways to pay. 

The event runs from 10 AM to 10 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
