UNITED STATES – Jazz Chisholm Jr. had a strong showing, going 2-for-4 with a triple and an RBI, but his New York Yankees did not have his back.

They lost 4-2 to their division rival, the Tampa Bay Rays.

Coach Antoan Richardson and his Atlanta Braves won another extra-innings thriller.

They beat the Washington Nationals 5-4 in the 11th, thanks to a dramatic walk-off single from Chadwick Tromp to drive in the game-winning run.

And down in the minors, BJ Murray continued his outstanding season with the Iowa Cubs.

He drove in all of his team’s runs during a four-RBI night, going 2-for-4 with a single and a double. Unfortunately, that was all his team got. They lost 8-4 to the Rochester Red Wings.

In the second matchup of the night, the Queen’s College Comets dominated the Doris Johnson Mystic Marlins 4-0 to coast to the win.
