Klay Thompson’s Last Second Jumper Wins Game for Warriors

San Francisco, CA, USA. – Klay Thompson only scored 14 points in last night’s game but two of them came when his team needed them the most.

Down two with the game about to end, he got to the elbow with Kings’ guard Davion Mitchell draped over him and rose up over him to hit a Kobe Bryant-esque midrange jumper to give his squad the win.

Klay had struggled for most of the game going 6-15 from the field and only 1-4 from three, but he did contribute on defense to keep the Dubs in the tight game, blocking three shots.

Steph Curry scored 21 points on 7 of 15 shooting to lead the Warriors. Draymond  Green had 13 points and 9 assists while Domantis Sabonis had 23 and 11 to lead the Kings.

The Warriors take their act on the road on Friday to play the upstart Oklahoma City Thunder.
